Resident or former resident who is a US Military veteran who had served on active duty as a member of the US Army, US Marines, US Navy, US Air Force, US Space Force, or US Coast Guard.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>2. Deceased US Military veteran who served as described in 1 above and whose spouse is a resident.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>3. Resident or former resident who served for 20 years or more as a member of the US Army National Guard, US Air National Guard, US Army Reserve, US Marine Corp Reserve, US Naval Reserve, US Air Force Reserve, or US Coast Guard Reserve.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>4. Resident or former resident who served on federal active duty in a combat theater as a member of the US Army National Guard, US Air National Guard, US Army Reserve, US Marine Corp Reserve, US Naval Reserve, US Air Force Reserve, or US Coast Guard Reserve.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>5. Resident or former resident who served on Active Duty for Training as a member of the US Army National Guard, US Air National Guard, US Army Reserve, US Marine Corps Reserve, US Naval Reserve, US Air Force Reserve, or US Coast Guard Reserve.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>6. Highland Springs employee who is a US Military veteran as described above and with a minimum of 5 years employment at Highland Springs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>7. The eligibility criteria include but is limited to the following family members of a resident: spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren who were also military veterans and who served as described above.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>8. Exceptions to the above policy may be approved by vote of a majority plus one of the members of the Veterans Affairs Group Board present at the time the vote was taken (see also # 10 below).\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontStyle\":\"normal\",\"fontWeight\":\"500\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} --><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: normal; font-weight: 500;\"><strong>9.
