‘Tis the season……January thru May……for producing dolls for our Holiday Toy Project!
Each year, for deserving children in our area, Highland Springs produces 200 cloth dolls to go with the 200 cradles made in our woodshop.  The dolls are made by volunteers who work in their apartments.  Tasks include cutting and machine sewing blankets, diapers, mattress covers and dolls as well as delivering supplies to volunteers. The dolls are then stuffed and sewn closed by hand. Each season we need 30+ volunteers with good machine and hand sewing skills with a desire to put a smile on a child’s face during the holiday season!
