Tech Tools Group

Composed of volunteer residents who are technology enthusiasts and with a broad range of experience with education of adults.

 

With a focus on how to continually grow and refresh the competence and comfort with current digital technologies available to Residents, the group conducts drop-in sessions for education and consultation. Residents are asked to can bring their portable electronic devices, along with their log-in and passwords, to ask questions and get assistance on how to use them. From the education perspective, TTG members will be providing brief sessions on various topics. These educational sessions will be conducted as in-person classes, video classes, and/or printed instructions.

 

If you are interested in helping Residents invest as much time as they want to, to become as knowledgeable as they feel they need to be, then come join us.

 

Knowledge and proficiency in these basic areas below are necessary to be successful in volunteering with the Tech Tools Group.
        Apple devices – iOS, iPhone, iPad, MacBook
        Android devices – Windows, laptops
        Microsoft Office Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
        Able to work independently in a Team environment to share your experience, along with

others who have committed to assist and support Residents
