Lady-Links make friendship visits to ladies we call “dear friends” who are in various stages of cognitive decline in the Independent Living Highland Springs neighborhoods. Two or three Lady-Links visit one dear friend engaging her in activities she enjoys and can successfully complete. The weekly visits last about 45 minutes and take place in the dear friend’s apartment. Visits include activities such as crafts, playing games, engaging in musical activities or participating in Show and Tell. We are looking for ladies to volunteer to become Lady-Links who are friendly and who are willing to enrich a dear friend’s life with love and laughter. Training will be provided.
