What is Main Street?<\/strong><\/p>\n\t Main Street is where you eat.\u00a0 Every restaurant is on the Main Street Level in that Building.\u00a0 Main Street is the passageway thru Buildings without restaurants. Corridors along Main Street are clearly marked on a Red colored slat in Directions Signs at every junction with other buildings, at Elevators and at significant turns in the pathway.<\/p>\n\t How can I learn more about Find My Way<\/p>\n\t A Guide to Find My Way has been added to the site.\u00a0 This page explains how to use each of the interactive pages of the site AND what Illustration or instructions will be generated.\u00a0 The Guide can be accessed by clicking on the “Guide” link in the menu at the top of every Find My Way page.<\/p>\n\t I have trouble finding Find My Way. How can it be made easier?<\/p>\n\t One ClickThe best method is to add a shortcut icon to your mobile device home screen.\u00a0 Instructions for this are provided on the “Menu\/Help\/One Click” page, also accessible by clicking HERE<\/a><\/p>\n Find My Way can be found by using any browser and entering the URL address: www.HSDCommunity.org and selecting the Find My Way icon.<\/p>\n When in the MyErickson app, you can search on the word “wayfinding”. Or, you can click on the Community Info icon, scroll down to Find My Way and click on it.<\/p>\n\t Why do all the maps have South at the top instead of North?<\/strong><\/p>\n\t The site is intended for use primarily by new residents or delivery persons.\u00a0 Placing South at the top of the map is a “Heads Up” view that would be seen by a person who first enters through the main gate.\u00a0 This is a similar convention used at the elevators or, by the GPS displays in your automobile.\u00a0 To reduce confusion, all maps include a graphic showing its North Orientation.<\/p>\n\t Some instructions seem to be incomplete – not telling you the last steps once you’ve entered the destination building.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t To help with this, the instruction pages are introduced with a Headline\/Banner that restates your requested path.\u00a0 When looking for a specific room, the “to” part of the Banner will state on what FLOOR you you will find the destination room.\u00a0 The schematic view of the area around the sought-for room will also state on which floor the room is located.<\/p>\n\t
